Introduction
Force of gravity between the Earth and the Moon causes some interesting effects. The most well-known out of them are access and recess of the sea. Many years ago it was proved that there is quite particular physical effect of the Moon action over the life process on the Earth. But specifically character of celestial body, having been created by human culture during centuries, conception of something familiar and unachievable, to be half investigated and inexperienced simultaneously, and always view of superficies of just one its side, has much more penetrating attraction of human mind and imagination. The Man visited the Moon many years ago, and its surface is thoroughly investigated with the help of artificial satellites and legendary "Lunokhods". Photo-project by Sergey Lutsenko could become a propagation of the theory named "lunar confederacy" in 70-s, which had been grounded with disputes concerning authenticity of documentary material giving evidence of disembarkation of the Americans onto the Moon. Yet the artist puts forward his own project of world of solitude and silence, kind of ideal shelter. Photo-project "The Dark Side of the Moon" is abstract model of affordable life on the celestial body. There is no man himself out there, but there are merely space and subject matters, which surround him in everyday life: guide sign, which an automobile passed by few minutes ago; football ground, where someone played football recently; kitchen garden with shovel and bucket abandoned thereupon; cemetery as completion of biodata pilgrimage. One may go further and say that project is represented as the model of lunar land art. The author places ordinary objects into the Moon space and they acquire new sounding: strange and incomprehensible. These are not advanced vitreous skyscrapers and supermarkets, airports and passenger stations, but provincial constructions, which in their own fashion are spiritually more familiar to a human being. Giving consideration to his handiwork one understands that the dark.
