Ruben Salvadori was born in Italy in 1988. In 2008 he moved to Jerusalem where he graduated with a dual major in International Relations and Anthropology/Sociology. Ruben has used photography to fulfill his anthropological interest, working on visual studies across Asia, Europe, Middle East and America. His works have been published and presented internationally on media outlets such as Die Zeit, Internazionale, CBC Canadian National Television. In 2012 Ruben was invited to lecture about his project 'Photojournalism Behind the Scenes' and the Ethics of Photojournalism in various American and Canadian universities. The project was chosen as one of the six finalists at the 2012 International Journalism Festival in Perugia. Ruben was also awarded by the Forma Foundation and chosen to collaborate on an assignment with Contrasto, the major Italian photo agency.
