Roger Generazzo lives and works in New York City. He earned an MFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2012. His work has been exhibited across the United States, including the Photo Center NW, Seattle, WA, New York Photo Festival, Brooklyn, NY, Katonah Museum of Art, Katonah, NY, and the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, Novato, CA. In 2013 his work won First Prize in the 3rd International Photography Exhibition, curated by Nat Trotman, associate curator of Guggenheim Museum, at Viridian Gallery in New York City. In 2012 his work was a finalist in Critical Mass, Photolucida, Portland, OR, the New York Photo Awards, and the 32nd Annual Spring Photography Contest by Photographer’s Forum Magazine. His work has been published in The Photo Review, Visual Arts Journal, Fraction Magazine, and the Best of Photography 2012 Annual by Photographer’s Forum Magazine. He is a recipient of the Thomas Reiss Memorial Award from the Alumni Society and the Alice Beck-Odette Scholarship, both at the School of Visual Arts.
