Since the early 1970’s my passion has been to chronicle the world in the role of journalist as visual artist. As such, I have striven to evoke an eidetic and emotional connection through my work for the past 20 years. Photojournalism has allowed me access to a world beyond normal borders. Whether reporting from war zones or social upheavals, or uncovering the inner workings of political campaigns, natural disasters or nuclear meltdowns, my photographic work is an exploration into public and the private. I have collected images of human celebration and suffering, of the green Earth and tumultuous seas, from the East to the West, often under extreme conditions and under tight deadlines, with a record of success commensurate with the reputations of the publications who have published my work. These experiences have long inspired my artistic compositions and creative efforts as a whole.
