Fabien Seguin is an artist inspired by ancient philosophy and words.
Born and educated in France, he holds a Master in classical literature and ancient philosophy and a Master in applied linguistics. His language skills include: French, English, Chinese, Italian, Latin, ancient Greek and old French. He loves dictionaries and couldn’t imagine spending his life with a partner from the same culture as his.
Raised in the Alps, he has lived: 6 years in Paris, 2 months in Mumbai, 7 years in Wuhan. He now lives and works in Montreal, where he is pursuing a BFA in photography at Concordia University.
His work has been shown internationally in institutions and festivals such as Pingyao International Photo Festival, ACP Atlanta, FIIE Festival, the Hubei Museum of Art and the Kinsey Institute. He also took part in many group shows in Asia, Europe and USA.
