Eleonora Calvelli is an Italian photographer currently based in Rome, Italy. After reading Russian Studies and completing a master’s degree in Journalism at the University of Rome La Sapienza, she attended a two-year course in Photography at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia in Rome (2005).
In 2008, she participated in the workshop entitled “Il cammino della Via Francigena”. The final project was exhibited at the 7th International Festival of Rome, as well as the China Pingyao International Photography Festival.
In 2013, her long-term project concerning same-sex couples with children born thanks to Assisted Reproductive Technology was published by Postcart with the title In Bloom. The project received the support of Amnesty International Italian section.
She has exhibited her works in Italy and abroad. She works independently on assignments and personal research.
