Process Statement
These composites convey the poetic impact of certain landscapes, aspects of classical architecture and art history on my life that remain in my memory, resurfacing unexpectedly. They represent my effort to clarify and find meaning in daily existence. Often epiphanies often occur while traveling. I'm recording a sense of place and the selective, multi-layered nature of memory. The images have been created by scanning original film negatives and placing them in the grid format in Photoshop.
