In Anna Karenina, Tolstoi said “Happy Families are all alike, every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."
This body of work is about houses in mourning, absence and family disfunction. Once people are gone, these stories disappear forever. A lot of these buildings will be torn down someday, and everything will be thrown away.
"Bien de Familia" is a legal term in Argentina that refers to a piece of property that belongs to a family and, since it is protected by law, cannot be taken away from them. So, this name establishes an irony between a good as something precious and houses that want to be left behind forever.
She studied Filmmaking and she worked in Publicity Film for several years. In 2000, she decided to dedicate herself entirely to Photography.

She showed "El no lugar" ("The no place"), in the University of Social Science's photogallery. In 2008, she released a book called "Imágenes Latentes, diario de viaje" ("Dormant Pictures, travel journal"), which is an only-one copy, exposed in Feria del Libro de Autor Espacio Ecléctico and also in Feria Internacional de Libros de Artista, Fotoseptiembre, (2009, Mexico).
She exhibited Bien de Familia (Community Property) in the British Art Centre (BAC), for the Encuentros Abiertos, Festival de la Luz 2010, in Argentina.
Bien de Familia (Community Property) was also shown in Paraty em Foco 2010 (Brasil), and also in 5 FotoFestPoA , Porto Alegre, Brasil, 2011.FotoGaleria Complejo Teatral de Bs. As.(2012)
She has received the prize of the International Forum of Portfolios 2010, XVI Encuentros Abiertos – Festival de la Luz, together with her partners Marcel Antelo and Lorena Guillen Vaschetti. Three of the pictures won the Federico Ayerza prize, 2011. Her work belongs to private collections, and to the Asociación de Cultura Inglesa (AACI, Buenos Aires), the British Arts Centre and to the National Academy of Arts.
