In 2006, after living in Los Angeles for two years, I moved to 1017 Genesee Ave. in West Hollywood. It was a perfect location for long, meandering walks through Hollywood and the heart of Los Angeles. I was attracted to the light, color and peculiarity of the sidewalks I found myself walking on repeated afternoons and nights. My practice is rooted in the tradition of street photography, and the concept of psychogeography. I explore my urban environment without an agenda, and would often simply follow the magical Los Angeles light to wherever it would take me.
