Artist Statement
I developed my interest in photography in 2002 while traveling to other countries. It is a wonderful way to discover the world and get to know people. My photographs show under which circumstances people live. I am interested in the impact of various factors on the human life. Even though I don´t speak their language, I get entrance in other peoples lives with my camera. It is an interesting way of life, because you never know what is going to happen around the next corner. Sometimes I discover topics by chance, sometimes I hear or read about something, become curious and try to discover it on my own. I prefer working on topics that touch me personally and make me angry, such as injustices and social problems.
