Process Statement
Sabina's work consists of documentary series in which she focuses on people who share a certain passion or living situation. Sabina lived in New York City from 2006 to 2007 to photograph the gentrification of the Lower East Side. Since 2009 she has been photographing the edge of the city of Groningen. In this - often surreal - area between the city and the country side nothing seems to be permanent and people are always on the move.
