Richard Boll graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Photography from the Edinburgh College of Art in 1999. He is now working full time as an editorial and advertising photographer in London. Awards and commissions include first place in the Audi/Next Level International Award for Contemporary Photography in 2004, first prize in the 2006 National Portrait Gallery Photographic Prize, and a commission from the National Portrait Gallery to photograph Sir David Attenborough in 2007. In 2011 he was a selected winner of the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Exchange, won the sponsors prize in the Renaissance Photography Award, and received honourable mentions in the Prix de la Photographie Paris Photography Competition and the International Photography Awards Annual Competition. Richard gained an MA with distinction from the University of Brighton in 2016.
