Artist Statement
My work references the history of photography, while exploring our culture's long-standing fascination with sex and violence.
Process Statement
I work in a very "analogue" manner. My work is produced by hand in the studio, using a large format camera and film. I frequently retouch and paint the prints as part of the process.
