I have included examples from work looking at a medical process, as well as looking at my own family. I photographed devices being made, created sculptures for the camera, or have built images through collage. In each of these approaches I am interested in the experience of our bodies by looking at fragments and facsimiles.

Introduction
I recently moved my studio from the basement to our grown up children's bedroom. I refrained from painting over the walls filled with pushpin holes, dirt and a history of fingerprints for 18 years and instead started a new series of photographs using the wall as a backdrop. My images reflect a history of the room both playful and chaotic. The spatial drawing (string, wire) conflates with computer drawing. The lines seem to enjoy fluttering back and both between materiality and pure form, not necessarily deciding what to be. They are re-living the history of the room.
