“My laptop stays somewhat clean as it is primarily for writing, emails, quick Lightroom stuff, while my desktop, where I do most of my surgical photo work, is a total mess. Go figure. This image is of a work by the great Mexican printmaker Jose Guadalupe Posada called "El Gran Panteon Amoroso” or “The Grand Pantheon of Love!” (ca. 1910). It says a lot about me and acts as a reminder of my New Mexican homesickness. It’s debilitating…“

“I’m considered many things but first and foremost I am a globetrotter. Once a year (ideally) I try to go to a place I haven’t been to before. Last year that place was Frankfurt, Germany. One of my dearest friends, Sara, was kind enough to let me stay with her. I took this photograph inside one of the churches somewhere downtown Frankfurt. As you can tell I am not a photographer but document all the traveling I love like this picture. I am not religious but this church was hauntingly beautiful.

I wish my apartment was as organized as my desktop. Damn it.”

I am 60, a pro Photographer (off and on), Digital Art and Photography, Lafayette Indiana (Purdue), and my site is currently down. This is a heavily modified dragonfly image converted into a Wallpaper border that I am currently trying to sell.”

The greenery picture was actually my desktop when I downloaded Steam in order to play this game with a sweet soundtrack, Hotline Miami. Upon opening the game, the title appeared on my screen like this and I thought it was absolutely perfect. Ironically, it’s been a few weeks and I have yet to play this game…”

“I’m a fine artist working predominantly in glitch, gif, and pixel art, I also make noise music, I tend to have a weekly clean up of my desktop and this is about two days worth of practice images saved, a handful of which actually go out into a public forum. The image is a teletext version of the Jaws movie poster I made, but due to my lack of copyright knowledge I’m not really able to upload most of the posters I’ve re-made through fear of being sued.”

“My desktop is generally somewhat messy since I am in grad school and am always working on various projects or assignments at once. Either way, my organization when it comes to my laptop is minimal. I like to say I can find things in my mess, or I enjoy discovering old work and inspiration through searches.

My current background is a photo of my mother circa 1995, when my family and I immigrated from Cuba to the United States, making Memphis, Tennessee our home. She’s sitting by the Mississippi, which is directly in front of her. My father snapped the photo.

I have used family photographs in my past work and am always intrigued by the family album. I believe they are our first introduction to fine art photography. I think they are worth more than gold.”
