8 Dummies And 1 Photobook

Micro exhibition at this years Homeless Gallery on thursday, 01.03.2012, opening from 7pm in munich, Baaderstrasse 60.

There will be eight different photobook maquettes on display, as well as "A Part" and pictures from this series on the wall.

Kassel 2011, home of the brave

My new book "Gute Nacht Mein Herz" was shown at the Kassel Fotobookfestival 2011 within the presentation of last years review prize winner.
It was a great time meeting people and viewing tons of inspiring new books.

Martha`s poem

Martha Feichtlbauer wrote me this poem to accompany the Hab Acht maquette. It`s called

ausbruch

ungehört
verstummt dein rufen
vor meinem fenster,
dein locken,
deine versprechen.
der blick nach draußen
weckt,
ich denke nicht,
ich fühle
deine bewegung
in mir.
sie trägt mich
hinaus.
während die kühle
des abends
sich um mich legt,
frage ich mich,
fühlst du sie auch?

schnelle schritte
eilen
in die dunkelheit
einer herbstnacht.
mein verweilen
ist verdächtig.
ich vergesse
meine wurzeln
bohren sich in den boden,
geduldig.
meine zweige strecken sich,
schütteln die blätter von sich,
zeitlupe.
nun kann ich
vielleicht
bleiben.

manchmal
bricht die Nacht in der
abgeschlossenheit
dieses zimmers
mächtig auf mich herein.
ich muss hinaus,
vorbei an häusern,
weg von straßen,
bis ich auf einem
freien feld
stehe.
und atme.
