The Salaryman Project (2006-present) tells the story of Tokyo's male office worker, aka salaryman. To reference office life and the cycle of the seasons in the Japanese capital, the work comes in the form of an illustrated business agenda. Beyond the documentary aspect, the project is an attempt to adapt creatively to the increasing constraints of portrait rights on candid street photography.

2LDK (=2 bedrooms apartment) is a collage work. Photos of frosted glass windows sampled in the city are pasted into photos of my own apartment in Tokyo. The work is a play with private spaces and also suggests how we are increasingly surrounded by screen base imagery.
