Corina Gamma was born and raised in Switzerland. She began her studies in Fine Art in Switzerland. In the late eighties, she moved to United States, where she completed a Masters in Fine Art from the Claremont Graduate University. Since, she has made Los Angeles her home and commits her time to photographic projects, as well as video installations. Corina has lectured on fine art photography in colleges in and around Los Angeles and has volunteered and collaborated on many community-based projects for non-profit organizations.
Corina Gamma’s work has been exhibited at MOPA (Museum of Photographic Art, San Diego), the Riverside Art Museum, and had solo exhibitions at d.e.n. contemporary in Los Angeles, Monika Wertheimer Gallery in Switzerland and the Woodbury University in Burbank. She has participated in many group exhibitions, such as the Ruth Bachofner Gallery in Santa Monica, the Goethe Institute in Los Angeles, and with video installations for LA Freewaves.
