Artist Statement
Franek Strzeszewski is a freelance photographer based in London, UK.
Franek completed the course Professional Photography Practice at London College of Communication. He also holds a Master’s in Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Warsaw. Franek's work ranges from portraiture, theatre and performance to social documentary and landscape photography.
In the last years, Franek was commissioned for photographic assignments in the areas of portraiture, lifestyle, documentary and editorial. He also initiated a number of personal projects. His work has been shortlisted for various photographic awards, such as Prix de la Photographie (Px3), Magenta Flash Forward - Emerging Photographers from Canada, UK and US, British Journal of Photography International Photography Award, London Photographic Awards, Photography Masters Cup and Lucie Awards.
